On April 10th, Mu Xi in collaboration with the American Red Cross hosted a blood drive in Elmhurst, IL. This a mandated program within the fraternity under the Charles R. Drew Blood Drive. The preliminary goal was to collect 25 units of blood. Because of the generous donors the goal was far exceeded and a total of 40 units were collected. The approximate number of lives that can be saved is 114! Great job everyone.
Mu Xi will be hosting another blood drive in the late summer, early fall. So be on the lookout for more information and please consider becoming a donor.
